Handkerchiefs for men and women:
 Other uses for my hankies number 1 :  Today I got into my car after loading my groceries in the  negative 12 degrees F weather here in Fargo North Dakota.  I was ready to leave but my glasses completely fogged up.  I tried to wipe them with my fleece glove-- that just smeared the moisture.  Quick answer:  I  took out a hankie and wiped them cleaned in a few seconds.  The photo shows 2 of my latest hankies/ pocket squares.  See these and many more for sale in my esty shop at:FabricCreationsfromfran@gmail.com

Cloth Hankies and Napkins:
   When I found this great Grey and Gold coordinating fabric, I could not decide if I should make handkerchiefs or napkins..... so I made both!  In fact the hankies would be great as either mens pocket squares or ladies hankies.  Treat yourself or start stocking up on holiday gifts.

Funniest use for my hankies so far:  I always carry one of my handmade handkerchiefs with me.  Usually I use them for a runny nose or tears-- I read a lot of happy/sad books.  Today I was glad I had a hankie.  I was sampling some pickles at our natural foods coop.   The farmer remembered to bring toothpicks to pick up a pickle sample but mine started dripping, I caught the puddle in my hand and asked if she had any napkins.  No she said she forgot.  "Don't worry" I said, "I have a hankie!" I took out one of my cotton hankies, this one in a lovely pink color.  I will never leave home without one or more of my hankies.
