Rainbow Chevron Quilt and I Spy game
I had a lot of fun making this baby quilt.   Many people use these quilts for tummy time and to have
a clean place for baby to play on the floor.   I spy a blue owl... do you?
This quilt along with a nice selection in a variety of patterns and colors is for sale in my etsy shop at:

BATIK BABY QUILT:
I had so much fun making this quilt ... if it was not baby/toddler size I would have kept it for myself!  It makes me happy just looking at it.  If you know someone who would give this quilt a happy home it is for sale in my etsy shop at:

Quilting and Sewing Tip number 6:      Quick and easy way to clean your iron.
I recently read that you can clean your iron with a crumpled up piece of aluminum foil.  Yesterday I was using a new type of iron on interfacing and accidentally iron on the sticky side ( Groan!).  If you have done this you know what a sticky mess it is.  I remembered the aluminum foil , grabbed a small piece, unplugged the iron and wow did it work quickly and easily!
Baby's birthdate can be added to my custom order order quilts in addition to names.  See my etsy shop:

My latest baby quilt for sale in my etsy shop is shown in a close up view in the first photos. As much as I love quilting, this time of year I am drawn to the outdoors.  The second photo is of the Red River of the North, a few miles from my home in Fargo North Dakota.  Arriving in Fargo less then 1 1/2 year ago I was surprised to find how beautiful it is here.  My favorite is the wide open blue skies.
