Soft Flannel Quilt for Baby Girl 
  This quilt was such a pleasure to make because the flannel is so soft.  Each Square is a different picture so you can play  the I Spy Game:  I spy a mermaid.  Or, can you find a pink owl?  Baby can learn shapes and numbers too. QUILTING TIP #14:  You can never have too many bobbins
     The next time you are at the store that sells your brand of bobbins,  pick up another pack.  I am forever needing more bobbins.  I like to match the bobbin thread to the top thread most of the time such as when appliqueing names on baby quilts as shown here.  That means a different bobbin for each color thread and we know how many thread colors there are!  See more of my quilts with baby names on them in my etsy shop at:
